Sierra Botanica & Collaborative Medicine asked me to build their website. They wanted something unconventional. They also wanted a homepage that was sparse and didn’t require the user to scroll a lot.
I opted for a vertical, static menu which really helps it stand out as unconventional. We went with a white background to go with the logo’s simplicity and to give it a modern and clean look.
I utilized various scroll animations on the homepage to give some movement to the plants, which helps liven things up.
We connected their patient portal to the site, implemented a newsletter signup which is linked to mailchimp to record email submissions, and I built a backbone of woocommerce into the site for a future implementation of ecommerce to sell various products online. Click here to visit the website.
